I find this all fascinating and I want to add to the evidence or controversy:On the sidewalk at the southeast corner of Pitkin Av & 80th St (by the cemetery) there is a street grating for what is commonly used for an underground substation (probably arc rectifier). You can see it on Google maps (satellite view) if you put in Pitkin Ave and 80th St and then zoom in on that corner). |
