I think it was more complicated than that. The fire department went after him because he allowed a bunch of people to have a party in there. If you've been in there, you'll know that there is only one way in or out, and it's a pretty narrow passage at that. That's a major fire hazard, especially because, unless something has changed, there isn't a whole lot of ventilation down there. |
