Regular gas in a 440 with a standard 4 barrel carburator? Not in your wettest dreams! Sunoco 260 premium fuel was about 65 cents a gallon when this car was new. Believe it or not, that was a lot of money for the smaller towns, many of which used a 318/4 barrel carb. Tunnelrat, what did the NYPD police cars have under their hoods in the mid-1960's? |
