Very interesting research, but what you've demonstrated is that 76th Street (and beyond) was planned and provisions made for it. Nothing that it was actually built.You might as well infer from substantial remnants at South 4th Street and Utica and Fulton that major lines of the IND Second System were built and then sealed up. The whole thing could be resolved with just a little cooperation from the City, but maybe it's more fun to keep imagining. |
