Well, then, according to the timetable for inaugurating the 2nd Av. stubway, they'd better get going with the SMS because they got a little less than a year to get those R32s in better shape. I've just looked at the JoeKorner website. Seems that there are ordinarily only 152 out of the 200 R68As on the roster for the morning rush. That's 76%, pretty low usage, not much more than the percentage usage of the surviving R32s. I wonder why. |
