Is this one of those times when something appears to be a good idea, but is really a boon-doggle in disguise, because it is really about making a huge amount of money for a company somewhere?Given the huge variety of "subway stations" - underground, elevated, on the ground, as well as the different configurations of stations, etc. ------------ First they came for the close end-doors, and I said nothing. Then they came for the token and subway clerks, and I said nothing. Then they killed various subway routes, and I said nothing. Next they came for the rail-fan window, and I said nothing. It seems that they won't stop until subway riders travel about in computer controlled hermetically sealed tubes that must show constant advertising glued to our eye-balls as on of the prices for transit.
