The first trip of the 2015 NRHS convention, based in Rutland, Vermont, was a photo freight pulled by Alco RS1 GMRC 405, built in 1951 as Rutland Railroad 405. The train had five covered hoppers and three coaches.

The hoppers were cut off at Ludlow and put into the siding for delivery to a customer.

The RS1 ran around the passenger cars for the return trip to Rutland.
