I had many stick shift cars, never wore out a clutch. Tore up a rear end in my 57 Chev. My mechanic (the boss), at the gas station I worked, put in new side gears and it still made noise, tore it apart and it needed a ring and pinion. Now with the arthritis in my knees, I'm glad I have an automatic. |
