Posted by Dj Hammers on Sat May 9 02:07:17 2015 I was recently on a Southbound D train, and noticed a few interesting things.1: Right before entering the old two track brick tunnel after briefly entering daylight south of 36th Street, to the right of the tunnel portal that my train went in appears to be what looks like two sealed off tunnel portals. What are these? Provisions for more tracks? 2: Right before exiting this same tunnel, an unused trackway comes in from the right. What was this meant for? |
