Well, higher service levels need higher density population. it's happening on long island in any case. all new residential development on long island is higher density. Wyandanch Rising, New Village at Patchogue, new buildings in Bay Shore and Huntington. and The LIRR diesels aren't that bad. sucks that there's a service gap on trains east of Bablylon between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m., yeah, but the service (at least Babylon/Patchogue anyway) is decent otherwise. in both directions.
