I'm not saying it would be a regular thing, or that the yards should be rebuilt. Trains could be cut in half/doubled between 6/8 and 12/14 cars, plus not all trains need to necessarily be stored at the ends of the lines. It would just give a lot more operating flexibility to not have power limits from underpowered substations. |
