It IS a bit "brisk" there. About 20 years ago, they were gung ho on wind power up here, and GE Turbines is in Schenectady and so quite a few went up around here. They never really paid for themselves here since wind isn't all that constant or strong around the hills here normally. We were kinda rooting for it to work though since we used to have a lot of hydro around here that all got dismantled. |
