No way you can stop at 6 mph/sec without causing major injury to standing passengers.I've been a standee on a PCC whose driver applied the track brakes. I survived. I've described the account several times, so I won't bore you with repeating it. I was thrown half a car length but the golfer who was playing his hole at Waban also survived. |
