Greetings, everyone!

The Preservation Experience: R16 Car 6398 - Part II was just as amazing as the first event that was held just over three weeks ago!
We got a few more things done this time around - a bit of body work and welding was done with car 6398, as well as some clean-up of certain parts of the car, including window cleaning. The panels that were removed not too long ago were sanded down and primer was applied to them in preperation for the repainting of the car, which will be coming up soon. A vintage BMT rollsign was also added to one end of the car. Some maintenance was done on the batteries. Air was also applied to the car - we got one of the horns to sound.

Elsewhere, Whitcomb Diesel #9 had her batteries charged up throughout the day. Work continues one day after the event, as water was re-added to the locomotive's radiator and work was started on her air brake system. She still have one bad motor, as the generator on this bad motor still needs to be fixed. But today, she roared back to life once again! If you want to see the diesel coming alive, be sure to check out the Facebook link above.

A really big "thank you!" to everyone who came up to participate in this amazing event! Everyone who participated did awesomely.
