If you read the article, you'd see the following:"Amanda, who has ridden the subway since she was a young child...." So, no, not from "Podunk," not some stuck-up hipster from the Midwest. Just someone who's sick of people thinking they're entitled to do do whatever they want on the train without thinking about common courtesy. It's that simple. |
