Why does everyone think Sharpton is some sort of Super hero or that people cares. He's the third string replacement to a weak network slot. And spare me on the "double standard" stuff if there was a white on black crime we'd be having a debate about how there shouldn't be a 'hate crime' statute.If there is no apparent racial motivation there shouldn't be a hate crime added to the prosecution, period. Perhaps every time there's a white incident I should bring up Rush Limbaugh or some other obnoxious character since we seem to live in some strange paradigm where we can predict the thoughts of an ethnic group based on one loud member of that group. On a sidenote, I've been beaten worse for less and didn't have any bystanders come to my aid or police make an effort to apprehend the suspects or get any press sympathy. Might the world be more willing to help an 'innocent looking' white girl than a minority, what do you think of that double standard? |
