Yes, but none of the Skoda or Inekon Astras, Trios, or Anitras were used with a fare collection arrangement which required operator interaction. Thus mobility impaired passengers are free to board by the middle three doors. This is as opposed to Boston's Type 8 and now 9 LRVs which force all passengers riding (these days without a Charlie Card) to board at the front door and ascend steps. At that point they may as well just order high floor LRVs. |
