Seems to me they built the previous WMATA order--the one where they got caught using the wrong alloy spec axles among other issues.Actually it's 2 procurements ago. 192 CAFs are the 5k cars, 184 Alstoms are the 6k cars. Kawasaki is presently contracted to manufacture the first 364 of the 748 7k cars. 400 of the 7k cars will replace the 300 Rohr 1k cars and the 100 Breda 4k cars.
