He said..they were forced to go along with the new 44 cars design since some guy made a sink about it in the papers[Either that or get the boot]..and ROCKEFELLER made a big deal about bring the "commuter car feel" to the SECOND AVE SUBWAY to match his plans for the LIRR. Pops was a buff on the down low..and kept up with the scuttlebutt. |
