Would it have been out all day on this turn?On Wednesday I was hopeful it would be out again so I went out to Broadway Junction early afternoon where I found the R32 was parked up in East New York yard. It came out for the rush hour and did the 17:15 from Broad St on the Z. On Friday it did the 17:05 on the Z from Broad St. The only other old cars I saw on the J/Z that day was a set of R42 on the 17:35 from Broad St. I didn't see all the J trains but there were a lot of R42 parked up in East New York yard. 8 cars out of 50 in service is very poor. On Friday I saw two pairs of spare R32 cars in East New York; I'm assuming one pair was 3714+3715, I couldn't identify the other pair. For the record the formation of the R32 set changed on Tuesday night, formations as follows, north end set listed first. Tuesday 3778+3932+3714+3770 Wednesday/Friday 3426+3778+3932+3770 |
