Paul: Thank you for posting those pictures. I first rode that line on April 30, 1967. That was the day that the Aldene Plan went into effect and passenger trains of the Jersey Central began operating over the tracks of the Lehigh Valley Railroad. The LV's own passenger service had ended several years earlier but I finally got a chance to ride a train on its track. They even put a passenger schedule page back into the LV Employee Timetable.
