I like the current trend of keeping as many routes consistent as possible. In other words, if a train normally runs express, it runs express. OK, some routes that are normally expresses run local during the late hours, but they don't count. Let's tae the Brighton line as an example. In bygone years, you had the D running express during weekdays with the Curly Joe and later, Moe, running local. During the late hours and weekends, the D ran local. Now you have the full-time route, the Q, running local and the part time route, the Bob, running express. It's consistent and less confusing. |
