That can work as well, and would be better actually to have some two-car sets for flexibility, since two-car sets also would allow for five cars (335' trains) when needed.Three and four car sets would be mainly for operational flexibility (even the Franklin shuttle platforms could be extended to 201 feet to accommodate a three-car train that way) and reduce costs without giving up too much flexibility. |
