That wouldn't be an insurmountable problem since car markers for 75 ft cars were never installed in the first place. M/M had to use the 10 and 6 car markers designed for 60 footers. As for C/R boards separate boards were installed for R-160s and R-42s as well as 600 ft trains of any consist so that wouldn't be a problem. The BMT had various C/R boards for Steels, D Types and Multis. |
