Posted by renee gil on Mon Sep 23 21:19:37 2013, in response to R44 5240 - New York Transit Museum 9/21/13, posted by Mysterious Friday 1986 on Mon Sep 23 21:00:29 2013. the plaque in the 5th pic says that these cars were rebuilt by morrison-knudsen in 1991. the r44s were actually rebuilt between June 1991 – January 1993. 5202-5341 were rebuilt by morrison-knudsen, the other cars were rebuilt by the 207 street overhaul shop and coney island overhaul shop. |
