Film would be very nice if it only had sound. I am always asked for video when I post up audio clips but truth is I didn't care for pictures and video as much as I favored HEYPAULS method of preservation. The thousand words to me is worth more than the picture representing it. I wish Heypaul had access to a model Marantz PDM-201 stereo recorder or something similar back in the 70s, or at least I got mine a year sooner. Hearing 6398 stopping on iron brake shoes in that Guardian Angels movie with its compressor starting gave me motivation to get something saved to run, not just to look good in pictures |
