Jersey Mike asked: "You know I never got why Rt 66 got so much credit seeing as it didn't even cross the entire country like Rt 30 or a host of other US highways."Maybe it's because Route 66 was in songs and in movies....it did go from Chicago to Los Angeles (Hollywood) and that played a large part. Only later did we learn in school that US Highways and Interstates that ended in zero did the nation crossing. D. Harrison P.S. Great Photos. |
