Do you know anything about the MDDE line thru Massey MD?Don't know much about what loads are shipped on the line. Last I heard the part of the line running to Chestertown was still open, however Google Maps shows the trackage within Chestertown removed and replaced with a paved hiker biker trail. The line into Centreville as I understand has been abandon, however the grade crossing on MD US-301 is still active. There is a thread on railroad.net in the DelMarVa & Washington, D.C. Railfan forum that discusses the removal of the yard tracks in Centreville. John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
