DaDouce: don't remind me of the agony of being dragged at age six or seven to Robert Hall on Queens Boulevard and 43rd Street, by my mom, to buy school clothes every August. I much preferred to be in that area to watch wrestling and boxing with my grandfather at the old Sunnyside Gardens (now a Wendy's). Gramps always sprung for White Castle cheeseburgers down the block, as well. |
