Yeah they were in some sort of weird way.But..they DID SOUND as if they were about to fall apart... I still find it incredible that they ran them in a regulated"MODE" of 65MPH...[65MPH!] on the E/F/N lines where able. The WORST was the Q.B EXPRESS between Roosevelt and Queens Plaza citybound. Felt like you were going 90!.. Paired with that hard braking for the turn onto Northern Blvd...it was one cool but scary ride. Too bad the rear ender at 5th ave..and all the others put an end to the "RAPID" in rapid transit. |
