Clearly, sitting here in Oakland CA, I can't see the intersection in question, however, if you count each auto @ 4 persons (not likely but makes my point) and 5 are delayed, that' one auto passenger per 5 pedestrians. Sounds democratic to me. Let'em wait.Again, there is NO SUCH thing as too many pedestrians. Cities are concentrations of PEOPLE whether there are cars or not. |
