We can afford to build whatever we want to build. The problem is that we do not want to spend the money on improving mass transit.Why was there enough money for a $3 billion new PATH station that could have been built for much cheaper but someone owed someone a favor so they constructed some overly expensive useless artwork that does nothing to improve transit. I wonder if for $3 billion they coud have combined PATH with the Number 6 line instead. |
