I take it as a given that, unless they give up adding to the museum fleet, a slant will be there. Whether you like the car or not, it is unique to the fleet, visibly so, and was designed by a famous design team. It also marked the NYCTA's first attempt at aesthetic design, marking a turning point in design philosophy. |
