Perhaps, but it's amazing that Amtrak didn't get them replaced by the proven Traxx types (most prominent example the ALP-46, which Amtrak has operated on the Clockers, per video). And if they aren't suited for the fast corridor service, they could go to other services (e.g. MBTA, if they would electrify every track on the Attleborough/Providence service that is, or be used by Shore Line East) . . .PS. Did the replacement trolls drive oaksmodelrr away? His last posts were last year. |
