That map omits the Culver Line from the service descriptions, not from the map itself. I've seen an IRT map from that era which omits, I think, the Dyre Av. service. The 1944 Hagstrom NYC atlas shows the Culver Line with joint IND/BMT service. No doubt somebody's overactive imagination.
