During that time I rode that line everyday and never saw clean pre-GOH'ed R42's on the GSS-only nasty, smelly grunged up R27s. The Northern "B" and "D" trains used clean pre-GOH'ed R42's. After the Manhattan Bridge opened in 12/88, the "Q" train used clean pre-GOH'ed R42's and clean pre-GOH'ed R32s only until R68s replaced them in early 1989. |
