LAHT steel rots easier than stainless.Well, that's kind of the point of stainless. But the TA always specified LAHT. They should send Budd's successor royalties. Not only have the cars lasted much longer but Budd put in the absolute low bid for them because the TA made no allowance for stainless. And the kinda-sorta stainless R38s. How long did they last? |
