Posted by chuchubob on Sat May 18 21:30:27 2013 Race Street Engine Facility; Amtrak leases NS GP40-2's for ballast trains; Juniata Terminal SW1500 and slug were on display for National Train day; Pennsylvania 120 went to Pittsburgh on Monday and came back on Wednesday. All three Juniata Terminal Company pieces will return to Fairhill (Juniata Terminal Company) Sunday morning.Yard goats: GP38-3's, 723 built in 1969 as Penn Central GP38 7758 and 724 built in 1970 as Louisville & Nashville GP38 4003. Train 281 departing Poughkeepsie Metro-North P32AC-DM's at Po-town Unmarked caboose on display in Highland, NY, at the west end of the Poughkeepsie Bridge Walkway Over the Hudson; no info was seen on site Empire Service train 238 arriving POU |
