If the 'stories' in parts of the Bible aren't true, then why would the rest of it be? Maybe this is semantics, but I just believe that people are misinterpreting what is in there. Who says seven days have to be 7 24 hour periods? Other periods of time in the book are used figuratively.The fossil record is not unlike the record of things we make: they show advancement from model to model, but that doesn't mean that there was no designer behind each and every model, especially when huge strides are made at times with no immmediate predecessor. |
