But what is creationism? Is Genesis what really happened? Nothing previous to Abraham can be really be known. But then the Bible was never meant to be either a science book, nor a history book. It is a book of faith, guiding people to God. The stories do not need to be true in order to do this.Excellent post. Too bad so many people don't get it. Be that as it may, There is nothing in evolution that really contradicts scripture. My reaction is "So *that's* how God did it." More excellence. Faith is quite a bit deeper than science, history, or even religion. I can't argue against faith because it is inherently irrational. |
