Crowd of white people see a white youth being arrested, shrug shoulders, go about their business. Crowd of black people see a black youth being arrested, jump to conclusions, nearly start riot. Until the vast majority of the people in that crowd learn that it is just some youth being arrested and has nothing to do with skin color, bigotry is not going to die. The ball is in their court. |
