Nah... three and a half minutes is excellent.Out here the other officer might be at the other end of the county. A 45 minute response time is not unusual. North Dakota Patrol does not operate 24/7, there are hours at night when no state officer is on duty anywhere in the state. A call to 911 (answered by state radio) goes out to the officer on call, who obviously enough is sleeping in his bed. Sheriffs office too sleeps at night, only city police departments are up 24/7 and that depends on the city. Some cities hire an officer Tuesday through Saturday (evenings) and calls at other times go to the county sheriffs office. Three and a half minuted is darn fast. He must have already been in the station. or on the way in response to the first call. ROAR |
