I agree by the way ... I thought I made it clear enough that I do not approve of graffiti anywhere. However, corporate graffiti is just as wrong in my book. Should we wrap GCT? That'd bring in money. How about the "Freedom Tower" while we're at it? Maybe make it look like a package of 5gum?

People expect ads on public transit and besides full car wraps are isolated only to the 42 St shuttle. It is creative and gets attention but most importantly brings in badly needed money to the MTA. MTA has to have alternative sources of revenue besides fares such as ads and real estate. They've talked about naming rights to stations but that would be a one time fee rather than recurring fees for ads. They really need to work on really estate cause they have a renovated mezzanine on the south end of the Columbus Circle that has sat empty for years.
