Well, another central FL factoid.

Since most houses sit on cement slabs, an outdoor temp of 60 means an inside temp in the 50s. Which, at least for me, means running the electric heating system. Which means a monthly electric bill of $400, higher than during the a.c. months.

NY may have brutal winters but at least it's warm inside without astronomical electic bills.
