Yeah, there was actually nothing better than the R10's on the Rockaway line, speeding across Jamaica Bay. On a hot summer day, all the doors and windows would be open, the little fans whirling, and I can still here the clickety-clack on the way to the beach.The red R30's in their final days on the C also were nice, but nothing compared to the R10's there. |
