As a matter of fact (IIRC), they were put on a barge with wrecked pre-GOH R44's and 1909 at 207th St Yard in 2001.I seem to remember seeing a pic of 1435 and 39 together at 207th St, but 1435's front end was completely gone, and the body was stipped to the bare metal on what would have been the inside of the car. The only car that I could never seem to verify its disposal would be 1440. Do you recall if 1440 was cut up on the spot at Union Square? 1437 was towed back to Concourse in two pieces. -Stef |
