Many of the Dodger fans, seeing the contempt of mlb for them, simply turned to the NY Giants and it may not be a coincidence that 1958 marked the turning point for the NFL.Interestingly, the 1958 NFL Championship Game aka "The Greatest Game Every Played" was blacked out in NY due to the NFL's then policy of blacking out all home games even sellouts. |
