I can see office buildings near some of the stations but other stations seem to be in the middle of nowhere. Is it expected that there will be pedestrian friendly development after the line opens? Depends on how you define pedestrian friendly. There is much to be done to improve the existing pedestrian infrastructure in the area of the stations. There are plans by multiple enterprises to build new commercial and residential development. 2 that I know of in the area of the Tysons McLean station, 4 in the area of the Tysons Corner station one under construction right now, 2 in the area of the Greenboro station and 4 in the area of the Spring Hill station. Project plans are in flux. Fairfax County has a larger and more ambitious plan to remake the entire Tysons Corner area.
