True...with the first of these NEW TECH TRAINS arriving...the clock is now running on our favorites subway cars...and the much loved "railfan window"...Hey..everybody loves new cars..[I know I do],but the older cars are what we identify with,after riding them nearly half or ALL of our lives... As much as we bashed the REDBIRD LOVERS over on the IRT while they were being replaced by the 142...we Silver bird lovers will be going thur the very same thing in the coming years.... Oh well...time marches on,I suppose. |
