Now, I sadly announce the death of a ONCE BEAUTIFUL air horn.......the air horn aboard ex-LIRR GP38-2 271, now owned by NYAR. NYAR absolutely RUINED it, and made it sound so....so.....COMMUTER EMU-ish!!! Arrrgh!! (Pics forthcoming on my first NYAR freight catch using my DSLR!!) |
